Our Grand Evening at the Auction
Michelle Bumbalough

On Monday, Oct. 18th, we had our annual charity auction. It was held at LeMetro a French Bistro in Southfield. The chef, Eric Horlacher, from the Shannon family in St. Clair Shores, donated his culinary talents for the evening. It was truly a night to remember. With the French ambiance, and French cuisine it was delightful. I would also like to thank the owner of the Restaurant Tim Winterfield, for opening the entire restaurant to us, for our event.

A thank-you goes to all of the donors who supported our cause, and, all of the people who came to the Auction to support us. I would also like to thank all of those people who made this event happen. My irreplaceable committee, and all of the other people behind the scenes. The energetic team work is what ensures that our Chapter can come to the aide of those in need and that we can further our work in Education, Support, and Research of Tourette Syndrome.

Those invaluable committee members that so deserve recognition are:

This kind of team work shows our strength to come together to better the lives of our families, friends, colleagues, neighbors, doctors, teachers, etc. This is what makes volunteering so rewarding. There aren't many words that come to mind at this time, but the ones that do come to mind over and over are "Thank-You!"

This years Auction raised much needed funds to cover only some of the expenses of our : Educator's Seminar on April 7th, 2000

As our Chapter grows our Family grows. But most of all so does our compassion. Thank-You everyone.
