Upcoming meetings for the Oakland County Support Group:

How to Educate Children with Tourette Syndrome. Last March we presented a very well received program at a STATEWIDE gathering of Special Education Teachers. This gathering was held at a conference sponsored by the Council for Exceptional Children in Grand Rapids.
The program is compiled and distributed by TSA National so that we may help educators who teach students with TS. We will also discuss the need for I.E.P.’s and how to start the process of having your child evaluated for special education.
On September 28th we will present this program at the Bay City support group and on October 13th at the St. John/Oakland support group.
If you have a child with Tourette Syndrome in school this presentation will help you to support your student, his/her teacher and the school.
Bring your family, friends, and invite your child’s teachers. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
